"Gender Dysphoria" Does Not Exist
Calling It "Gender Incongruence" Will Not Make It Exist Either
It has been an eventful past few days, to say the least.
Anyone following developments in this particular area of interest may have seen the extensive coverage of President Trump’s executive order regarding the reality of sex with regard to the lie of “gender identity”:
It requires that the federal government use the term “sex” instead of “gender,” and directs the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security to “require that government-issued identification documents, including passports, visas, and Global Entry cards, accurately reflect the holder’s sex.”
When I read that, it made me wonder if someone in the Trump administration had read my 2023 and 2024 posts on the inapplicability of gender to human beings!
It also made me despair that liberals/leftists/Democrats (whatever term you would like) have been so unreasonably insane on this issue that it has turned into low-hanging fruit for Republican politicians to seize upon and easily benefit from because of how obvious the facts are. Whether these executive orders will hold up after legal challenges remains to be seen, of course.
The executive order rightfully establishes, however, mere use of the word “gender” is the primary source of confusion itself since it has no real definition outside of linguistics.
Since the word does not apply, this means that “gender dysphoria” simply does not exist. Read on to discover why.
